not ordinary, yet recognizable
Small sculptures, big stories.
About recognition and simply being yourself.
A card. A print. A small image. But often it touches on something bigger.
In my art prints and cards, I start from my own associations, impulses, a sudden thought, or a feeling. I work intuitively, with a touch of humor. What I create doesn't need to explain everything — it can stay open, so that you can recognize something of yourself in it.
The most beautiful moment is when someone says:
"This is me."
Or: "This reminds me of my sister."
Sometimes it's simply a gentle smile.
Those are the moments when the image finds its way — from my world to yours.
I often add a quote to my prints — a short text that connects to themes of recognition and daring to be yourself.
My cards and prints aren't ready-made messages, but small openings. So that you — or someone you give them to — can add your own meaning.
My applied images often carry little stories within them — about courage, trust, and the strength of being yourself. These are themes I am learning to embrace myself. At the same time, I know many others search for that same anchor: how do I stay true to myself in a world full of expectations?
That's exactly why I want to make them tangible in my images: what seems small is often vast on the inside.
My work grows from personal associations and interpretations. My mind shifts quickly and makes unexpected connections. For others those links may seem odd, but to me there's a logic. That way of thinking often gives my work a surreal or humorous twist.
I love using humor — it helps me put things into perspective and opens up a different view. It's my way to step back, to soften, or sometimes to look more deeply.
Often it starts with something small I can't immediately place — and ends up as an image.
My work invites you to look with softness — at yourself, at your story, and maybe even at the strange and unexpected.
Because "just being yourself" is already brave enough.
