Yesterday, I visited two galleries with my father. At the Tim Van Laere Gallery, we saw the work of Dennis Tyfus, and at Gallery Sofie Van de Velde, that of Eline Rausenberger—two Antwerp-based figurative artists, each with their own unique style.

Messing around, a seemingly useless activity that is actually invaluable for creativity and self-discovery. It is the art of doing nothing, tinkering, playing without a clear goal in mind. For many, it may seem like wasted time, but for those who understand its value, it is an essential part of the process of creating and personal growth.
